"Kong: Skull Island" is an American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The film is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and takes place in the 1970s, during the Vietnam War. The story follows a team of scientists and soldiers who embark on an expedition to a remote island in the Pacific, where they encounter the legendary giant ape, Kong.
