The movie picks up where the first film left off, with Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) struggling to balance his life as a journalist and his relationship with the alien symbiote, Venom. The unlikely duo has formed a bond, but their existence is threatened when a new, more powerful symbiote, Carnage, is unleashed. The Carnage symbiote bonds with serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), creating a villainous partnership that's hell-bent on destruction.
