The movie takes us back to 1985, where we meet John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a young boy who wishes his teddy bear, Ted, to come to life. To his surprise, Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) becomes a living, breathing, and swear-spewing companion. Fast-forward to 2012, John is now a grown man, and Ted has remained his loyal, albeit mischievous, friend.
