The Pokémon Indigo League, also known as Pokémon: Indigo League, is the first season of the Pokémon anime series. It was originally broadcast in Japan from 1997 to 1999 and later in other countries. The season follows the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his Pokémon, Pikachu, as they travel through the Kanto region to become Pokémon Masters.
