MMS Desi Maza is a part of the Sahara One Media and Entertainment Limited network, which was launched in 2000. The channel was initially designed to cater to the Indian diaspora, but it soon gained popularity among Indian audiences as well. Over the years, the channel has undergone several transformations, including a rebranding exercise in 2011.
