GApps, short for Google Apps, are a collection of Google applications and services that are typically pre-installed on Android devices. These apps include Google Play Store, Google Maps, Google Drive, Google Photos, and many more. GApps are not part of the open-source Android project, which is why they are not included in custom ROMs like Lineage OS.
