Tomb Raider is a popular action-adventure film franchise based on the video game series of the same name. The film, titled "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider", was first released in 2001 and starred Angelina Jolie as the protagonist, Lara Croft. A sequel, "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life", was released in 2003. In 2018, a reboot of the film franchise was released, simply titled "Tomb Raider", starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft.
