The film takes place 10 years after the events of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (2011). Caesar (Andy Serkis), the intelligent and charismatic leader of the ape community, struggles to maintain peace and prosperity in a world where humans and apes coexist in an uneasy balance. As a human settlement, led by the ruthless Koba (Toby Kebbell), threatens the apes' home, Caesar must navigate the complexities of leadership, loyalty, and the blurred lines between human and ape.
