Not everyone trusted it. The firm’s CEO, methodical and practical, declared the phenomenon a PR liability and insisted Busbi be locked to standard settings. One midnight, he sent an intern to unplug the copier. The intern opened the studio door and found a queue of people sitting at the long table—some with cups of tea, others with crayon drawings—watching Busbi gently fold reality into possibility.
