In 2000, Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan, a Bollywood actor, and the couple has a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Aishwarya took a break from films to focus on her family but returned to the screen with "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (2003) and "Sarkar" (2005).
