The film opens with John Nash (played by Russell Crowe) as a graduate student at Princeton, where he begins to make a name for himself in the field of mathematics. His exceptional intellect and innovative thinking earn him a coveted spot at RAND Corporation, where he works alongside other prominent mathematicians. However, Nash's life takes a drastic turn when he starts to exhibit symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia, including hallucinations and delusions.
